Fish scales while pretty are never a fashion do. Halle Berry's body pulls it off, but only because she looks good in anything. Oh and the shoes are HOT.

Umm...In case you were wondering, this is Kylie Minogue and while I try to stay away from making fun of cancer patients, I have to say that color lipstick is HORRENDOUS. I'm not sure what the hell she did, but it isn't working.

Eternal fashion victim Mischa Barton shows us once again what not to wear.

While hats are going to be HUGE this summer and fall, she picked one that looks awful. PLUS those shoes are ugly. Really. Really ugly.

Uh....Anyone have a couple hundred bucks they wouldn't mind lending me? and by lending I mean keep, with absolutely no thought of repaying later, but I'll give you pictures of me looking really cute with a new necklace. I think that's worth it.

Urban Dencity is a GREAT site for some truly beautiful pieces of handmade jewelry. They have it sorted by the type of "girl" you are, which makes it very fun in that Cosmo quiz kind of way. The prices generally range from $65-$200.

I've learned the hard way that the ONLY way to shop for shoes, or other things, is to see if the brand that you want has their own website. For example, 'Dolce Vita' shoes are very big right now and they are great quality, however you do have to pay at least a hundred for ANY paifr of shoes they have, OR do you?

Dolce Vita happens to have their own website and you can end up finding shoes on sale for MUCH less. A lot of other places sell their shoes, like Urban Outfitters, but they obviously have to sell them for more in order to make a higher profit. So stick to shopping off Dolce Vita's site.

I high recommend them. They have great customer service, VERY fast shipping, and reasonable prices. Oh and the shoes? Amazing. Packaging? Amazing. You'll definitely enjoy stalking some of their more expensive pieces, and you can be rest assured those things will go on first sale, about 4 weeks later.

Penelope Cruz & Sister Monica to Design For 'Mango'

It seems Penelope Cruz and her sister Monica are set to design 25 pieces for the Spanish clothing chain, "Mango". Both sisters will be featured in the ads. This is the first time that Penelope, or her sister have developed a clothing line.

Penelope on her line:
"I select every item, color and size myself. It's a reflection of my taste and what I wear. There is a mix of casual fashion, a few party dresses and accessories at decent prices."

Kate Moss's New Line For 'Topshop'

Here are a few pieces from her new line over at Topshop and I must say they really are very "Kate-ish" and quite a few pieces work for the everyday women.

This outfit right here is great. Vest's are a great staple to have in ones wardrobe, and they help to create an hourglass figure, while hiding any small bumps, or lumps. Plus, you have the added bonus of it never going out of style. The pants are also great because trouser fit is perfect for women with thighs. Remember if you buy the whole outfit, you can break up the pieces.

Great simple dress. For those girls that have great legs, you should definitely rock this.

Just don't. Unless your Kate Moss thin, metallic, tight sequins is NEVER, I repeat, NEVER a good idea.

Cute jacket girls. Add this to a pair of dark wash denim, with a cute T' and you got an amazing outfit.

Sarah Jessica Parker is rocking this Alice + Olivia dress at the launch of Esquire's ‘Tap Project’ in New York City. While Emma Roberts is donning the same dress in a tank version at 'Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards'.

My take: I don't think little Emma is quite 'womanly' enough to pull off this dress. She somehow looks like a child playing in mommy's clothes. While the svelte Sarah Jessica wears it well. On a side note, if you cut off Sarah's head, she looks very similar to Madonna. Weird.

What's Hot....Black & White Dress Edition

How to do Black and White right. It's very easy to jump on the bandwagon of fashion trends and it's just as easy to have it go awry. Black and white is big right now and will last well into next year, in fact black and white never truly goes out of style. It's a classic.

So the major key points of pulling this off is sticking to prints that match your body. If you are a larger woman then pick a larger print. If your petite, then stick to a SMALL print. I would definitely suggest going with a black and white dress and punching it up with color. Black and white affords you the fun of BRIGHT colors as your accessories. So that means you should go for those sexy red pumps, or patent yellow clutch.

When Bad Shoes Happen to Good People...

Time to Make A Change...

Ladies it's time to make a change, in your wardrobes. Seriously, put down the tapered jeans, throw away the hairspray, AND stop wearing over sized t-shirts. I'm beginning to think my mantra in life should be, "YOU CAN DO BETTER!".

My plan is to help women learn to dress themselves to the best of their ability. Women of ALL sizes can look amazing in the right clothes. Feeling comfortable with yourself, doesn't require a 'Pollyanna kind of mentality'. Sometimes the outside really can help the inside.

For example, you feel fat. You're tired of the muffin top, and feel that there is something wrong with you. You find a pair of jeans that fit in the right cut and wash, and suddenly, BAM! You feel sexy, because you look sexy.

Here are just a few tips on how to find the right jeans:

1. Don't worry about the size. If you have to go up a size or three, then just do it. It'll be worth it, I promise.

2. Dark wash denim looks best on women with bigger thighs.

3. Unless you are super skinny say "HELL NO!", to whiskering and/or fading.

4. Remember to fit the biggest part of your leg. So for you hip-ier girls, try a trouser fit jean. You can buy a great pair at 'Gap'.

5. MAKE SURE THEY ARE LONG ENOUGH. I am so freakin' tired of seeing women with jeans that are too short. Jeans should cover 3/4 of your heel. Which means the should be ONLY 1/4 inch above the ground.

6. For petite women, remember you can ALWAYS get them tailored.

7. Make sure you remember that jeans shrink in the dryer and loosen with wear.

Zafu is a great website that can help you find the right jeans. It has animated dolls you can dress up and to me that's worth the click.

Just to let you know, I plan on writing plenty of posts about the subject of jeans. Every woman needs and wants an amazing pair of jeans and besides bathing suits jeans are the only thing that brings us near suicide. Remember ladies, put down the razors (or pills), and pick-up some tissues. Perseverance ALWAYS pays off.

The biggest advice anyone can give to someone trying to find jeans, is to take at least an hour and TRY ON EVERYTHING. You'll find a pair you love, don't worry.

WHAT NOT TO WEAR:

1.

Taperd jeans are NEVER okay.
You want to eat an ice cream cone, not look like one.

2.

Most of us are over the age of 18 and have thighs. If you do, don't whisker them, or highlight them with fade, or rips.

3.

Unless your semi-cool with your thighs and you plan on shoving these "skinny" jeans in some boots, DON'T do it. Skinny jeans work on skinny girls/women. This cut will only HIGHLIGHT your thighs and yes, even make them appear bigger. So don't.
